Cold and windy with torrential rain in the west for most of the day and scattered showers elsewhere. Low of 5C plus windchill – still very cold! But the sun did come out this evening - fingers crossed it comes out tomorrow.
Still lots of passerine migrants inc. Collared Flycatcher, Orphean Warbler, Common Whitethroat and Blackcap

Konditsia valley – SPECTACLED WARBLER male, SEMI-COLLARED FLYCATCHER 1, Thrush Nightingale1, Barred Warbler 1, plus lots of migrants.
Skala Kallonis – SEMI-COLLARED FLYCATCHER 2 fems, Whiskered Tern (pool), Common Kingfisher (Environmental Centre), Night-heron (over Hotel Pasiphae).
Achladeri – SEMI-COLLARED FLYCATCHER male, Collared Flycatcher 2+, Kruper's Nuthatch pr using the shattered stump on left just up from the white building. Bee-eater 6.
Dimitrios - SEMI-COLLARED FLYCATCHER fem, Collared Flycatcher, Pied Flycatcher, Spotted Flycatcher, Grey Wagtail, Middle Spotted Woodpecker, Robi, Crag Martin, Serin.
Lambou Mill – SEMI-COLLARED FLYCATCHER 2 (m&f), Collared Flycatcher, Pied Flycatcher, Common Redstart.
Metochi Lake – SEMI-COLLARED FLYCATCHER male, Savi’s Warbler 2+, Little Crake 9, Night-heron 3, Purple Heron 2, Lesser Black-backed Gull (with Yellow-legged Gulls in field between lake Christou River).
Faneromeni – SPUR-WINGED PLOVER 1 (on road to beach). Wryneck (up track on right before upper ford) Fords Citrine Wagtail 3 (2 males and one fem – upper), Little Crake 2 (lower), Little Bittern 1, Common Kingfisher 1, Green Sandpiper 1, plus many common migrants.
Sigri – Estuary inlet Great Bittern, Spotted Crake, Purple Heron 3, Squacco Heron 3, Glossy Ibis 4, Citrine Wagtail 2 (males),
Meladia Valley – chapel Wryneck 1, Firecrest 1, Icterine Warbler 1, Barred Warbler fem, Wood Warbler, Subalpine Warbler, Orphean Warbler, Sombre Tit; ford area and fields Tawny Pipit 15, Great Reed Warbler (many), Quail 2 calling, plus lots of migrants.
Kalloni Saltpans (and surrounding area) – Red-footed Falcon 3, Collared Pratincole 38, Gull-billed Tern 2, Whiskered Tern 2, Glossy Ibis 150+, Black-tailed Godwit 23, Ruddy Shelduck 23, Montagu's Harrier 2, Marsh Harrier 2, Little Stint, Ruff.
